Bedroom and bathroom with shared use of common rooms.
One month for one person, paid in advance	$1300
One month for two people, paid in advance	$1500

We’re permitted to rent 3 times a year for less than a month so please contact us to see if we’ve reached that limit.

$800 cleaning/damage deposit due on arrival. Our cheque will be mailed to you within 7 days after your departure and our subsequent inspection of the house. Providing there is neither damage nor loss of property and that the house is as clean as it was when you arrived, you will receive the full $800. We prefer to avoid levying a cleaning fee on everyone. This policy is non-negotiable.

We also require a signed license agreement, due prior to arrival. One-half fee deposit is required to hold your room. No credit cards or other electronic payment. Cheque in US funds required. Balance due 30 days prior to moving in. (Last-minute arrivals are possible depending on availability, so please inquire about how to make arrangements.)

PETS: Because we completely understand how important it is for people to live with their companions, we regret that we do not allow pets. Haskell’s House provides a place for those with chemical sensitivities and allergies–people who have difficulties finding places they can safely stay, and companion animals are a major source of allergens.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Notice of cancellation must be given as soon as possible, and in writing (e-mail is OK but receipt must be confirmed). In the event of a cancellation more than 14 days before arrival, all monies paid less a cancellation fee of $10 per night will be returned to you. In the event of a cancellation less than 14 days before arrival, you will be liable for the whole amount. We will do our utmost to find someone else for the room and if we are successful, will return all monies paid.

REFUNDS: All refunds, including damage deposit, will be paid by cheque.

NOTE: Hurricane season in South Florida is from June to the end of November. In the event of a hurricane, refunds for unused nights will be provided.
